Great article I totally agree and I noticed the lack of emotion during the scene u mentioned near the water when shepherd called to the commander. It sounds dead. Definitely needs work and it’s good to see it mentioned since sound is really important to game design and shouldn’t be under looked!

Now when you mention it it didn’t sound dead although I never paid attention to it before.. nor do I remember how it’s been with the previous 2 games… thanks for introducing confusion into my life! lol

I do not agree with the first comment made at this review. However, I do want to point out that I have been reading and following this game for months. I am not addicted to games like shooters. I enjoy every kind of game. Be it racing, family oriented or shooters. I do question your research though. You say this game is made by those who hate America. Do you know what the company went through to get men from the real tier 1 squads to help them make a true game? Do you know that the story is deep and meaningful and yes controversial but what shooter game isn’t. All games where you control someone usually has you killing something. All the way before Mario killing turtles and mushrooms. I understand it is Americans in the shahikot mountains and fighting terrorists but it sounds like you did not look at the whole picture and instead went in looking for information to back up your need to get rid of this game. Times are changing rapidly and one thing to understand about gaming is it sits up there with film and music. Controversial and loved by millions for the feeling and rush. This is not just another comment. This is a message that games are games. I love living in a country where we will fight for what we believe in and games are included. I did like your review. Short and honest from your view. As I said in the beginning I have been following this game for a while but don’t call it a full review if your ending comment is to ban the game. Just a thought.

That would be pretty sweet. It’s too bad the Kinect doesn’t work with seated players, otherwise Kinect controls would surely be there!
